(sorry for my bad english, im not a native english speaker) ok i have a coat made of cotton, its color is beige, today i noticed a small spot of ink on it as big as a pea!! i took it to laundry shop next to our home and they said they cannot clean it completely and they need to clean it a bit and wash it and clean it more and wash it again and so on and so forth. any idea of how i can clean ink off my coat without leaving any trace? here is the pic of my coat: http://www.liberty.co.uk/pws/images/catalogue/products/aw09aqua188000116-medbeige/large/aw09aqua188000116-medbeige.jpg

  1. Ink stains--a hazard for office workers everywhere! It's bad enough when you get ink all over your hands, but when it gets on your clothes it's a completely different set of frustrations. There is a solution, however, you don't have to resign yourself to wearing ink-spotted clothes. Here's how to get those stains out. *** Ballpoint Pens Step 1 Dab the stain with a clean wet sponge until no ink is lifted from stain. Step 2 Allow the stain to air dry. Step 3 Spray the stain with hair spray. Step 4 Sandwich the stained fabric between two paper towels. Step 5 Blot the backside of the stained fabric, working the stain into the other paper towel until stain is lifted. Step 6 Apply laundry pre-treatment (stain remover). Step 7 Wash in warm water and allow to air dry. *** Felt Tip Pens Step 1 Press a paper towel into stain to lift excess ink. Step 2 Apply denatured alcohol to the stain using a clean cotton swab. Step 3 Wash fabric as usual.
  2. cheap canned hairspray will do it. just saturate (soak) the spot then blot it up. do not rub it. keep repeating till spot is removed. this answer was chosen several times as best answer to that ink spot question. good luck to ya
