Do prepaid credit cards work for shopping online?

The prepaid credit cards you can buy at the drugstore. Can I use them to shop online? Also do they have the four digit CCV security code?

2. Yes, you can use pre-paid cards to shop online. They're indeed less risky than credit cards, since if anybody stole your card number they would only be able to use the money you have put into it, and you can easily control how much that is. I believe they do have the CCV security code (sometimes this is just 3 numbers)
3. Yep. You can also use visa, mastercard, and amex gift cards online too. I do this all the time!
4. Yes they do, I've used them multiple times. Just enter the information on the card, but put your name as the billing address and such. It works fine.
