What do you look for when shopping online?

Looking for online shoppers, business professionals or marketing experts! I've just established an online store at www.intriqate.com. I have thousands of visitors to my website over the weeks but zero sales! What can I do to improve my website? What do you look for or what attracts you when shopping online?

1. i love playboy bunny stuff i search the web for it all the time but your store isnt new so i would advertise dont know where but thats what you need to do and if you have cool teenage clothes thats not expensive or something teenagers like advertise on myspace

3. As a Marketing major that hopes to work solely with the fashion and cosmetics industries, I look for certain things that I have learned that draw me to websites. First of all, make sure the site is designed in a way to attract a certain customer. For example, when I shop online, if I see a plain bland site, I look elsewhere. Look at shopsueyboutique.com...her site is pretty and it makes me want to shop there because it LOOKS trendy. Use color and catchy phrases...advertise wherever you can! You need to reach your customer! I also took a look at your site and you have very expensive items showing up on the main page...Try putting pretty, but less expensive items to draw the customer in. I know if I see a site that has really expensive stuff right on the main page I move on. Hope it helps!
