Alternative methods to do online shopping without using credit card?

Does anyone know what is the alternative methods to do online shopping without using credit card? i know there's one company in Malaysia promote the card which is same function like credit card but it's using the method of top up. what's the name of this company? other suggestions?

Bank of America has a credit card that allows you to shop safely by giving you a temporary card number (that is not the same as your actual card) and you set the limit to the price you are paying for an item and you set the expiration date to whatever you want. You just sign in to your card online and then click on the shopsafe feature, it takes 2 seconds to get your temporary number. It works great, I have used it several times and the nice thing is that you just get one bill, it gets charged to your regular credit card but the sites you shop on never get your cards real number so there is no chance for fraud or theft of your card.
